Ellie Jane Goulding born 30th December, 1986 in Hereford England. Her mother Tracey Goulding-Summers worked at a supermarket and her father Arthur Goulding was a member of the family known as an undertaker. Goulding's younger sister Isabel, and second sister Jordan are children. Alex is her brother. Alex is her brother who plays the bass as well as a part of a Hereford band. When she was a young girl, her mother was encouraging her to get into the instrument. As a young girl, she began learning to play the clarinet. The label she was signed to was Polydor Records even though Under the Sheets had been released by the independent record label Neon Gold Records.
